Knock
December 1925 at Knock Station, Banffshire, with the distillery in the background. Having alighted following a Christmas shopping trip, a small boy and his father watch Class D40 No 6850 “Hatton Castle”, recently outshopped by Inverurie Works in new LNER green livery, leave the station with an Aberdeen bound train. Most of the carriages are still in GNSR livery. From an original watercolour by Bill Emslie Published by the GNSR Association 2006 Copyright 2006, Bill Emslie
